About TLC
What’s Cooking?
Take one part Technology & Law, one part Culture & Law, add a little EU flavor and a zest of NL, and voila, some yummy TLC! Served to you via your favorite aggregator every first Sunday of the month.
What? Only Once a Month!
Yes, it keeps it fun for us and should allow for giving a little more thought to a topic and, if only ever so occasionally, provide a little insight or a look back or forward. As a result, posts here are not necessarily always hyper-topical. You probably read the same daily news as we do, and there is little sense in echoing it here. If you care to check out where our list of ingredients come from, a list of feeds is listed under 1 - Technology, 2 - Law, or 3 - Culture (and under Aggregators / Filters / Clusters).
Can I Participate?
Sure! If you would care to join in the kitchen, and occasionally write a post on, well, technology, law or culture and how it all comes together, please send a mail to olivier.oosterbaan@technologylawculture.com.
Suggest a Course
You can also suggest a new course by going to the Pick or Suggest a Topic page and leave a comment there or, again, by dropping a line at olivier.oosterbaan@technologylawculture.com.
Careful, It’s Hot!
I am a technology and media lawyer in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. What I write here, I write in my personal capacity. As a rule, I don’t write on any matters that — tangentially — concern my clients. And, finally, what’s written on TLC (or on most legal weblogs) does not constitute legal advice. Legal advice requires tailoring and timeliness, two things a blog does not provide for.
And Who Makes This Up?
The chef? Olivier Oosterbaan, technology and media lawyer, somewhere out there in the Netherlands, looking for the freshest ingredients. For a short bio on me, read the Olivier’s Bio page. Bon appetit!
